14:00 – 18:00 | Exposition - Free
Host of the day: Postkantoor 00/00/00

Postkantoor 00/00/00 creates an in-between space where words, images, and grief meet. People can send handwritten letters to someone who has died. Each letter receives a visual response: a re-drawing that allows the words to speak in a different way. The Post Office also creates space for stories, encounters, and rituals around loss. Because grief is the other side of love, and asks for space to be felt, shared, and lived through. Art as consolation. Word and image as a bridge between what is visible and invisible.

Workshop on textiles, memory and slowness by Liesbet Braekman (Mollis)

In this workshop, each participant starts with a piece of clothing or textile of their own — something connected to a person, a moment or a memory. On a prepared white 50 × 50 cm base, you will create a textile collage. The piece of clothing you bring will be cut and reworked into fragments that come together to form a new composition. Using the technique of slow stitching, we work slowly and intuitively. Hand-stitched elements connect the different pieces without forcing them into place. The process takes centre stage: looking, repositioning, waiting, starting again. Everyone works at their own pace, without pressure to finish the piece during the session. After the workshop, the work can continue to grow. The base remains a starting point that can be added to or refined later.

Sunday 15 november 2026

14:00 – 18:00 | Exposition - Free
Host of the day: RetroRouw

Some losses occur before or around the time of your birth, or early in life, when you are still a child or young person. The sense of absence can stay with you for many years, revealing itself in different ways at different stages of life. Sometimes, there was little space to grieve at the time. Perhaps it was not talked about at home, there were other concerns to deal with, or the loss remained an unspoken subject. Even when support was available, questions, emotions and memories can resurface later in life. What you lose early in life — or what you miss without ever having consciously known it — can become intertwined with who you become and how you move through life. The absence becomes part of your life story: sometimes like a missing piece of the puzzle, sometimes like a quiet presence that continues to travel alongside you.

10:30 – 12:00 | Workshop - Tickets
'Conscious Movement' workshop by Kinga Jaczewska, based on her own work 'Gabriel'

In this movement workshop, Kinga Jaczewska takes participants through the creative process behind her solo performance Gabriel (the film adaptation of which is part of the group exhibition at the de Kunst van Rouw festival) and invites everyone to engage in a conscious movement practice. We explore how to access an intuitive source – as a driving force for movement and as a way of freeing the body from the rational and the rigid.
