Manu Keirse is a globally recognised authority on grief and loss. Johan Maes, psychotherapist and grief therapist. Author of several publications on grief. In his latest book 'Rouwsporen. Een weg naar verlies en bevrijding' he reflects on his own experiences of loss as a child and how these experiences laid the foundation for his drive to become a grief therapist. Grief following living loss, as well as grief after the death of someone, is a process that unfolds throughout our entire lives. The aim of grieving is not so much emotional processing, but rather the challenge of weaving experiences of loss into our life story in a meaningful way.

Rob van de Velde is a grief counsellor and someone with lived experience. After the loss of his daughter, he became deeply interested in everything related to loss and grief. Drawing on this personal experience, he decided he wanted to be there for others facing loss.
In his counselling, Rob creates space to pause and reflect on what is, while exploring together what is needed to move forward. With an open, attentive and down-to-earth approach, he looks at each person's unique story.

Christophe Marchal is the driving force behind and co-founder of RetroRouw vzw, and is currently training as an Inspirerend Coach. Drawing on his own experience of early loss, he aims to create more space for people who experience loss before adulthood.
